I'm not sure who you mean when you say they, but 500 or 600 Latin was no longer spoken anywhere outside of the church, and don't double post

That really doesn't have anything to do with what I said

My point was, they were called by many names and are still called by many names. You can't give them a static name per era. Every historian has their own take so nobody is right or wrong!

Personally I like to call it "good times" (understand now!)

But yeah can we have myths aswell? That way you won't have these debates about what other people think to be correct or not.

I personally like the game as it is and in my opinion I would prefer that if further patches were implemented, Middle age countries were not involved and keep the game to imagination.

I think I understand know, you clearly have no solid historical background so you watch the history channal and go on what they say, for the recound, though it would be to long to go into here, there are proper names for this and people can most certinaly be wrong, and finaly I beleive it was you who said the Romans called Britan what ever it was you called it and that is why when Rome fell is significant

Ok first of all. No need.

I mentioned the Romans to clarify my point. Nothing to do with middle ages.

I have a History degree and was taught by passionate academics, active researchers and recognised experts.

History is always open to debate. But I won't participate in flame wars any longer. Please keep to topic.

Edit: I could quite easily be cruel just as you are and mention and slander you for the simple fact you can not spell (at all) But i'll just mention it

The Crusades were originally set upon recapturing Jerusalem from Muslim ownership so in effect your right.

What the empire was called depends on who conquered it so you can't possible say someone is wrong. The UK has been called many names.

The term "Great British Empire" is commonly used when referring to the Norman Conquest.

But that's not what this topic is about!

I agree they do need a historian but they probably won't delve that much into it
Gosh sounds a lot like you are saying the Romans referred to England as Britannia during the middle ages, oh no, that’s exactly what you are saying, and for someone who chooses not to mention things you do talk about them a lot, and if I were going to be curl I might question if you actually paid attention in class, but like you I won’t

    I tried Twice!

    Back to topic now please

Edit: To clarify. The Romans were indeed around during the very early stages of the middle ages but the breakdown of Roman society did indeed begin. Just to clarify that. That wasn't my point but there ya go!
