Thread: How can I fight this guy?

Default How can I fight this guy?

I am currently from time to time experiencing attacks from a player who is a member of an alliance that is friendly with the alliance I belong to. To make matters worse, when I go to his city on the map, there is no option to fight or scout him.

Thus I feel handcuffed. I can't fight back against him, but the rest of his alliance is friendly and not attacking me.

    So....my questions are

    1) Why is the attack option on this player's city removed altogether?

    2) Is it against the rules for members of an alliance to attack members of a friendly alliance?

    3) If not how do I put my city in an unattackable state?

this dude is probably dropping out of his alliance long enough to hit you then getting back in. send a copy of your battle report to his host and your host. if nothing changes find an alliance that has more trustworthy allies.

It is not allowed for you to attack a member of an alliance that your alliance is Friendly with. That he is attacking you means that while your alliance is friendly with his, his alliance is not friendly with you. That's why he can attack you but you can't attack him.

To stop his attacks you can either:
Ask him to stop - some people are nice, this might work.
Ask the host of his alliance to make their alliances status friendly with yours
Use a Truce Agreement - only works for 12 hours and can't be used while under attack
Teleport your city - he can't attack what he can't find.

To be able to attack him -
Have your alliance take his alliance off of Friendly status
    Quit your alliance.

oh wow, I totally missed that. I assumed because of this guys outrage that they were both friendly towards each other. if they are not friendly to you, then you need to alter your side's own feelings towards them.

It's only 1 member of a large alliance that is doing this, though.

That just seems like something that would blow up in my alliance's face.

yeah, but you need to make sure the feeling is mutual. I once made the mistake when I first started. I thought that if I clicked friendly on another alliance I would see who is friendly with them and vise versa. I had to wait for the other vice host to get on to correct that mistake. It could have happened to you. also, we established friendly relations with another group's host and later that night the vice host of that alliance put us back to neutral so he could attack one of our guys.

it can happen. you need to have your leadership make sure the other side is honoring the friendly status. if not, they need to change it.

you have incompetent leadership if your alliance has non mutual friendlies, even worse is keeping it despite being attacked, i bet your host doesn't even read the battle reports

you alliance is friendly with theirs. His alliance in neutral with yours. So you show up grey to him. You need to have your host correct the issue. Either get their alliance to friendly yours, or make theirs neutral.

Tell your host whats happening and consider declaring war against them even if they are a large alliance.
