    The problem I have with the whole 10% thing is, when you have cities with 500K Arch, you never take out 10%. If they want to do something that I would support, they could stop handing out logistical information like how many cities I have in stats.

    Hero is there,
    Alliance is there.

    Statistics, search hero Joe in AB alliance. Player Jake in AB has a hero named Joe. He has 20K pres, I have 180K.
    No, I'm not too worried about that.

    Most of the 'Informatics' is handed to you on a plate anyway.

    Problem is that the game never had a system to keep it balanced. That has been further compounded by the fact that the game provides no incentive or challenge to advance. This notion that the game is unbalanced toward the aggressive player is more a matter of perspective. If you're talking in terms of equally matched players then the defender has the advantage. But to look at noob farming as an example, then the attacker has the advantage.
    If this Age 2 thing ever does go ahead (personally, I'm torn between thinking that it's just another Evony promise to keep us hanging in there, or a way of getting around admitting to us that Age 1 was another beta test), then hopefully there will be some kind of focus to actually make it worthwhile taking on your evenly matched neighbour.
    As for the battle reports, lets test it to see if it's exploit proof. If you have a 'friend' who's happy to let you wreck his defences, scout him, then get him to move his troops into a valley while you attack. Check battle report. Post results...

    again tho, that's a U problem, not a Me problem, if i have a battle with you, and there are survivors, it matters not if i send 1k or 100k, or if i kill 1 guy or 1 million guys, the fact remains that i was there, saw it all with my eyes, and now know what you have.

    the proper way to handle this would be to patch it so you can only send enough to battle to conceivably win, however the problem with that is, the way the battle system is curved, it's impossible to wipe a talented enemy with one wave.

    given that multiple waves are a necessity with the current set up, then the first few waves will always be sacrifice, why are we penalizing ppl for curbing a disadvantage into an advantage? if i have to sacrifice troops to get passed the walls, at least give me an idea of what i'm up against after i give you the honor for my determination. Remember the defender does nothing but sit there and rake in honor until the attacker out thinks the system and dusts his ass.
    Make it worth it to me to wage war in your war game, or call it SimCity

    and resource info is vry important as anyone who's ever advanced teled a city with -6mil food production will tell you, you hit the juicy weaklings before the bone dry weaklings. really tho it's a shame, Evony has spent all this time and effort trying to make it more difficult to farm the weak, when really they've only succeeded in making it where ppl only farm the weak.

    All I wanted to say was said by Met7797. I only have 1 more thing to say that sending in probes is not cheating.
    I'm 900k prestige and i still use the probes tactic: sending in very small troops to scout before my big wave arrived. It's very effective and more accurate than the scouting. They always land 30s before my real troops hit and they tell the true force within a city (provided the reinforcements don't arrive 2s before my big wave hit). Scouting can be misinformed since they can not tell the difference whether the reinforcement have arrived or not. Trust me I've been through this: you scouted and see they have 300k archers in city but 30s later when you hit, there's only 20k defending, the other 280k reinforcments are still en-route.
    If you don't want to be scouted by probes, close your gate when probes hit and open right before big waves arrive. Ofcourse people will find more way to counter that and it requires sly of hands, and a little bit of luck but isn't it the point of war game? Now to nerf the probe tactic is just stupid and noob. At least increase the chance of loosing your hero while probes and tie it with a chance of getting scout info. Say if you loose your hero, which is about 80% time, you won't get report. How's that?

    advantage of patch from the point of view of evony:
    1.increase value of scout. since most people said the game is about archer and more archer, they now introduce another useful unit!
    2.make it harder for people to get info, thus boosting the already insanely strong defences, effectively making turtling easier and stronger. people hate to be hit. its a war game, but who cares?

    fact is most people are playing this as SimCity, the people in forum are only small representation of the whole server population. to a developer, it's more important to make 'most' people happy.

    but simcity players don't buy warhorns, corsets, excaliburs, advanced tele's, or really anything else needed for advanced warfare, sure you sell a few more michy's this way, but the money is in the war toys, and with war being obsolete in this game....

    the developers are poor business men, they had an absolute gld mine, and they dumbed it down

    they should focus on their core players, and they'll find that's who's really buying dinner, i know i'd spend way more on here if i got more bang for my buck, as it stands, why buy a warhorn and excalibur just to get my 100k dusted by the 500k defenders?

    or worse, get my 500k dusted by the 130k defenders (which actually happened to me the other night, and why i'm here and not in game, i'm quitting this dumb shyt) and now with this new patch, i wouldn't have even gotten a report on what beat me. If that's Genius, make me retarded!

    i don't remember reading in the latest patch report anything about all numbers being censored from now on lmao

    yeah we should be able to filter our own stuff in alliance chat.....
    we cant even say "show" cause it shows up like "s**w"
    like wtf???? all i see now are stars we should be able to brag to our alliance members on how well we are doing and what they need to prepare for...

    What's hilarious is "host" now reads as "*st". OK, censor "ho", fine, but now we can't use anything with the letter combo of H and O without it being censored. By the way, in that last sentence, "without" would read "wit*ut" in mail or in chat. Fantastic way to make a poor system of communication even worse!
