Servers are down because Server 8 took the rest out from all the war declarations on AdzChaos. (65+) :P

The devs were playing spin the bottle, but no one explained that the bottle should be empty before spinning. In an especially vigorous spinning battle, the soda battle exploded, spraying caffeinated, sugary goodness all over the servers, thus short circuiting them.

the devs decided they'd had it with users being ungrateful for what they do, so they decided to shut the whole thing down to teach us a lesson

Isn't it obvious why the servers are down? Its population control!

As army's grow and grow, the food production can't keep up to the demand of the hungry soldiers. In an attempt to avoid all food from being wiped out of existence from soldiers eating like locus, the severs where shut down until the populations could be reduced through starvation.
