    I don't understand why you can just say "Thanks, I see this as Evony taking a step in the right direction."

    Or, you could always tell em "No thanks, I dont want the compensation, you keep it".

    agreed, this is what I've been trying to push for some time now. The communication between player and company is at an all time high, and as seen by all the threads today, I think appreciation of consumer is at an all time high as well. Things are looking up.

    You don't seem to have a clue. I'd buy you one, but I still don't think you'd be able to figure it out.

    i would say that someone complaining about great service provided by other's for free is the one without the clue.what MMO DOESN'T come with downtime and server issues? i have been playing subscription games for years, and i gotta say there is no less problems on some of the multi-million dollar game clients as there are in this game. and this game is free!! just consider yourself lucky to be playing at all, and think of it as being a part of the beta test since this game is brand new.

    look, everyone stop complaining and such. Does Evony still have things to do yes, the game is still far from being perfect, but you must admit things are improving now. We don't need to tear each other apart but rather we should work together to try to make Evony even better. We the players should be grateful at the moment, but yes we must keep an eye on things and try to keep Evony to their word and improve the game however we can. we must work for the middle ground and make the game as good as possible without killing the company as well. Through working together, we can make a better community for all.

    This is a great gesture. I definitely appreciate that evony is trying to make up for the problem. Kudos to them.

    Default Why now and not before

    The reason that there is compensation now and not before, is because this time it was almost everyone on every server. Before, it was a server here, or a server there. Do you really expect compensation on server 35 because server 18 was down? This is not the section to complain about bugs in the game, there is a thread for that. Hundreds of them, actually. This is a thank you thread to evony for something they did not have to do. So this is a big thank you from me. BTW, I love how spellcheck highlights Evony.
