Yeah, the dynamite won't explode them like that, it'll kill a few, no doubt, but for the most part all you'll have is a bunch of crippled zombies.

The drive by shooting fails, unless you can 100% ensure a head shot.

As for jumping, that's a tactic that could be used to clear cities. Climb on top of one building, yell out, then jump to the building next to you and watch the zombies fall off the edge.

I'd suggest you find yourself a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. As well as World War Z, also by Max.

Here's my fortress. There's a chicken coop for food and a rainwater purification tank for water. The middle building doubles as a storage room and sleeping quarters. Anything from weapons to personal items is stored here. The walls are built up high with razor wire at the top at a 45 degree angle. The people in the fortress stand up on the walls with big spears and stab the zombies below. However, they can also use other weapons. There is a SunSetter retractable awning for when there is severe weather. There are also gardens on top of the buildings to grow fruits and vegetables.
