    Default Rates of production.

    farm level 7 = 280 people, 2800 production/h
    mill level 7 = 280, 2800 p/h
    quarry level 7 = 560, 2800 p/h
    mine level 7 = 780, 2800 p/h

From this we see that quarry and mine are the most labor intensive, meaning we get less per laborer of resources units gained than farms and mill. So really, iron and rock should be most expensive, and they should be traded at higher rate than wood or food. If people stop selling to .001 bids, prices would increase dramatically.

PS, I <3 my quarry spe******t town with all desert valleys + trebuchet. so much lol dmg.

iron sells at a high price later in the game. It doesn't really matter how many peasants are workning, just what people need in the game, and after your done building your walls, stone is worthless (no unit requires it unlike wood and iron). So stone is worthless game through almost and wood and iron become the high value resources with food being fairly high but not as high because people can farm for it easier then the other resources.

Well, I'm tired of these forums. Very little humor in them anymore. Adios all.

Stone is cheap because it is mostly useless at the end of the game. It has nothing to do with how much labor it requires. Nobody is going to pay money for something they don't need.

Where in my post did I say catapults were useless? I said trebs were easily tripped by waves of warriors diminishing their usefulness.

To each their own, but until more people agree with you the price of stone is going to stay where it is. Supply and demand.
