I've played MMO's for prolly longer than you are alive. I'm not here to tell lies or tales. Truth is $ will rule. That is how they stay in business. If it were not your "Tribal Wars" wouldn't have lasted for 6 months.

It's not an argument, it's a matter of fact. Spend tons of $ and you'll (potentially) be the best. If you're a fool with zero skill, then of course you won't get far regardless of your cash spendings. However if you have general knowledge and spend avg. time in a game + spend $ at will . . . there is nothing a player not spending $ can do to stop you. It's just simple math, all a giant #'s game, and $ increases your #'s much much faster than w/o.

It amazes me of how ignorant you are. I was in college during that time, and only player 2-4 hours a day, and that's less then the avg. person. Money makes the world go around but it doesn't prove anything. Skill over ranks any amount of money. You're pretty much saying that someone who buys the best machine guns in a war, they will win. Which is stupid to try and argue. Money is nothing unless you have the time to play.

Hahaha. If I were willing to use my gamer name here I'd show you just how far your "diplomacy" goes. You simply didn't get attacked by a top ranking alliance. If you had, they would have laughed in your face.

I don't have the biggest army or the fastest build times. And I am diplomatic in nearly all actions I take. You are foolish to think that the players at the very top haven't spent real $. Since I know several, and speak to them on a daily basis, my words are factual. I could care less how you "feel" things are. The truth is right in front of you. If you're too blind, or as you say "ignorant" to see it, that's your problem.

The best players are going to spend cash because it means that much to them. This is the same in every free MMO with a cash shop.

Maple Story, Combat Arms, any nexon game anyone? That's just how it is. But you can be a strong contender against anyone who uses cash very easily and buying items in this game only provides a slight increase in how well the person has the potential to do which is exactly how it should be defined.

You're acting like that is a bad thing though.

Nope, not at all. Spending $ is what keeps games alive. I really enjoy this game and would like to see it run well. However with the current status of the servers that's not going to happen. I've witnessed far too many similar games eat dirt because of the EXACT same reasons. Only serious gamers will spend amounts of $ that mean anything to the devs, and serious gamers just won't hang around in a game that continues to act like this. I most certainly DO hope they fix it and I'm just complaining here because it might be read by someone who could potentially care. *shrug* worth a try I suppose

No serious gamer would leave a game fresh out of beta for 2 weeks, and would know that this isn't uncommon in the slightest.

supposedly being over 12 and using "LMAO"? now thats hard to believe. or pathetic, one or the other. sure the top players spend money, i didn't say to be #1, but to be competitive and do well, definitely don't need money. and the alliance i was attacked by was WMD, so not very big? really? me thinks they are the number 1 alliance. some people arent jack a**es who get a rise out of attacking people for no reason, often they attack simply because you are the only person with a high enough prestige near them to not make them feel like theyre bashing people. but talking to them and opening a dialogue can often curtail attacks. doesn't always work, but it does sometimes. half of the attacks on me have been avoided, meaning probably hours upon hours of rebuilding.
