Not knowing how their logs work makes it difficult for me to know that 'they already have that info', therefore it is not a strawman arguement... it is simply a matter of me being uninformed about the system they use here when providing a potential solution.

The persistant game I run is NWN and you need individual scripts to record, monitor and parse the logs for just about everything useful that is needed/wanted or the info simply goes into the ether.

It just seems to me that there should be a more constructive way to address this than simply suggesting that the Evony staff are negligent... or worse... simply do not care.
If people really felt that way, why bother?

Personally, I simply believe they are dealing with matters based on immediate priority and that this particular matter does not rate very high right now. After all, they have (according to other posts) a broken combat system to deal with, numerous server failure events and several game balance issues to sort out. If these problems were simple or easy, don't people think that they would just solve things and make their customers happy?

Businesses prefer their customers to be pleased with their products. The only reason they have for leaving anything 'broke' is that they either have not agreed on a fix OR they are not finished implimenting the fix. I mean look at things realistically. Nobody goes into business with the plan to have their ideas blow up and compound existing problems. I idea that they are just ignoring the issue does not make sense and to me is the real strawman.
