They have a long history of taking an excessive amount of time to communicate anything to the player base, better in recent days but if there is no response to it then most players will just assume that they aren't going to do anything about it and more people will start doing it just to be on even footing with those who are already abusing it.

As far logs they already have records of the IPs of those who connect, as well as the all the battle and transport/reinforce reports between cities, and probably all the mails as well.
It is not that I do not think it provides an atmosphere of abuse. Clearly, there is abuse going on. What I am saying is that the use of the logs and a flagging system can help them isolate such incidents based on set parameters. This could allow what is likely to be a huge intimidating task into something more reasonable.

Also what I am saying is that it is entirely possible for there to be mutliple accounts within a household that barely even rate on the radar. Of all the accounts from my house, only my account has the ability to threaten other players. The rest are only threatening in that they can call for help from more potent members of the alliance.

It just seems to me that forbiding multiple accounts is counter-productive. The problem is not how many accounts come from a household or even how many accounts are used by a single person.....
The issue is HOW those accounts are used.

Example:
Drinking is not the problem.
Drinking to excess and becoming a public menace IS the problem.

So do we want Evony to come down on the practice of multiple accounts?
-If yes, do we want some difference in treatment between accounts from multiple people from the same household versus multiple accounts held by the same person?

If we limit the restrictions to single players with multiple accounts....
-Do we acknowledge a difference between levels of hostility? Perhaps just addressing those who prosecute repeated and debilitating raids while using multiples?

After all, the number of accounts is not really relivant if the user is not overtly hostile or oppresive against other players. It is the distructive and abusive behavior some multies display that is a problem... a matter that I don't think anyone could debate in a valid fashion.

The debate about how Evony enforces it's rules aside...
I think most of us probibly agree on how we want get where we are going.
It is just that some of us disagree on the route we would like to take.
