Ok so i decided i felt like laying down but staying on here, so i grabbed my handy dandy ipod touch. After about five minutes i realize holy crud, apart from being a little harder to type on the forums run faster and smoother on my ipod then my mac desktop. Where it took 5 minutes to load a page i now am experiencing little to no lag. Wth?

That probably indicates the presence of a virus(es) on your computer. You should do an antivirus scan, and purchase more effective protection software.
Or you could simply buy a Mac.

It could also be that the forums are a little laggy off an on, and when he got on the ipod, the forums were not lagging. It could also be, using his ipod, he has only one window open, and therefore is using less resources.

Then it was probably just that the forums occasionally get laggy, especially on days where we had 4000 users...
