I have not gone back, but whomever said no to esp 7-9, that is wrong, in the Star Wars vs Star Trek thread, the proof in near the end.

Who, exactly, was being sexist? I thought we were discussing the Star Wars films...

Before an internet brawl breaks out, let me say that I am sitting here with my banhammer just waiting for someone to cross the line.

Just to steer this back on course: if you like the new remakes/prequels/sequels of old movies better than the originals than you are probably too young to have refined taste. This goes for the Star Wars as well as movies like Rambo IV and Indiana Jones IV.

Also, the acting in the new Star Wars movies is generally regarded to be terrible. Your first clue is that the cast was anchored by Samuel L. Jackson and a computer generated green munchkin.

I like both, but the original three are classic and still hold up well over time. And if you don't like the 70' special effects just buy the special editions with updated special effects and a few added/expanded scenes. Plus how can any movie beat "No Luke, I am your father" for completely unexpected plot twists?

Vader never said "No Luke, I am your father", it was simply "No, I am your father."

The "Luke" was added during the radio adaptation and is never said in the film.

And yes, I point this out whenever I hear that line.
