int = intelligent / Speeds up research
att = Attack / Speeds up troop building/training
Pol = politics / Speeds up building construction and increases resource production

Yes they mean assign that hero as mayor during the queue/build creation.

I suggest you also mention that speed up is free for anything under 4min 30 secs, and should be done systematically, as it's a great way to start the game.

I'd had also a paragraph about BP, Beginner's protection, as it's a powerfull tool to devellop production without the risk of military problems.

The guide is nice. Like it was already said, intelligence affects research time. I also read u want to rewrite the guide, but maybe u can correct this little mistake for the time being? Just takes a small edit.(gave u reputation btw, thanks to our guidance).

It is actually 5 minutes(and only if this is the default value, boni by heroes or research do not count towards this).
