Well I think that in general people could use more restraint in their language in game chat and on forum posts. The Server1 subforum in particular is a cesspool.

I've never played alongside a kid, but we have fought alliances with kids in them. In general, if the kid isn't a threat by themselves we put the kid on a no-attack list.

If society is so corrupt as to have strip clubs, mardi-gras, etc, and to enjoy those actions, then how can we as adults teach children that is "not OK" to go to websites that are mildly provocative, when we ourselves are indulging even worse carnal behavior.
As adults we should be able to enjoy things of adult content. We cannot as a society be responsible for every persons child. By having that view, then you give credence to the screwed up people who say "society made me this way". Those people who never take responsibility for their own actions, the same people who don't take responsibility for their own children and leave it up to others.

What? That makes absolutely no sense. I can get drunk and still be responsible for my actions. Please rephrase that to make sense or try writing it differently to make sense.

I understand, you saw we should be able to enjoy things of an adult content. OK that's fine. Saying we cannot as a society be responsible for the children around us though is not something I can agree with readily.

While I agree with you, that there are people out there who end up being seriously screwed up, and blame society for it. Usually, those are the individuals who have grown up in a troubled area, such as the inner city. However, take a look at the more rural society. If you look at a country community, you notice that everyone knows everybody, and to a degree, everyone affects how the children in the community grow up. What they teach the child, what they say is OK. Children are lead largely by example.

However, that brings in a new question. What do you quantify an adult as being. When is a child no longer a child? Historically this answer has changed time and time again through history and throughout culture. When is a child no longer a child? When should they no longer be shielded by others? This age changes from cuture to culture and from time period to time period. So who got it right? When is a child an adult?

When should a child be allowed to be exposed to Adult Content?

(I am going to shower, excuse me if I don't reply quickly.)

I am sorry, my ideas get mixed up sometimes, my main point is if you don't want you child here then do something they have things for browsers that block content and logrus is right if he said the concerned parents are here with the children, but really in today's world it is hard to shield your children you can try but things happen at school that you can't control and tv is getting worse and you can't control what people write in articles or on the internet. So I am saying is that you can try, but things happen, but if you tell you children about some of those things when they first see them it can help. Also if you are afraid of what the game's influence on your child then don't let them play.
