While I agree with you, that there are people out there who end up being seriously screwed up, and blame society for it. Usually, those are the individuals who have grown up in a troubled area, such as the inner city. However, take a look at the more rural society. If you look at a country community, you notice that everyone knows everybody, and to a degree, everyone affects how the children in the community grow up. What they teach the child, what they say is OK. Children are lead largely by example.
However, that brings in a new question. What do you quantify an adult as being. When is a child no longer a child? Historically this answer has changed time and time again through history and throughout culture. When is a child no longer a child? When should they no longer be shielded by others? This age changes from cuture to culture and from time period to time period. So who got it right? When is a child an adult?
When should a child be allowed to be exposed to Adult Content?
