i keep hearing that old saying "(something somthing) but it takes a village to raise a child." my son plays games, but i regulate what and how much. perhaps i am too leaneant with my regulations but i do pay attention and talk with him about his games. i find my self agreeing with both Abacax and Logrus dispite haveing taken opiset vews. the parents of today, on the majority, need to step up their parenting. most of my generation had leanent parents and/ or grandparents. with the 3rd generation being even more lax in parneting skills what can you expect but that socity will be asked to bare the burden of raiseing the 4th. is that right? no i dont belive it is. will it change? no i dont belive it will. so the question them becomes, do we step up and help shape the lives around us? or do we calmly say "your not my problem" and justify leaving these children to fend for themselfs as their parents have already done? its a hard choice. since there is not much you can do on an indavidual lvl on line muchless .... dangit i need breakfast i lost my train of thought
