I can see both sides here, however, I do believe as adults we should set an example to those younger. As far as I can see there is no age restriction to EVONY there is no age verification required to play or register so by comparison it is no different to a public place. Working on that basis we should behave as if we were in a public place. Yes parents should monitor what their children access on the internet as do I and you can usually tell from the sort of content if it is an appropriate site. However, there is no warning or censorship rating on EVONY and it is the same with many other sites. Equally there are sites that are adult in content where adult behaviour is appropriate the same as there are clubs and bars where children are not permitted. As EVONY is a free game it is bound to attract children, I am not advocating wrapping the kids in cotton wool and sheltering them from the real world but some of the behaviour at times does leave a little to be desired. As has been stated there is private messaging and private chat that can be utilised if you wish to indulge in 'Adult' language and behaviour. Some may as yet not be parents and I can assure you that your views will change when you do (you may not believe that but take my word for it you do eventually turn into your parents or something akin to them, although I am still fighting against that one but more frequently find myself doing it).
In conclusion if we behave responsibly then hopefully we set a good example.
