Evony just provides the tool to send mass invitations to people from your list, the one who downloads the application has the control over how many and who they sent it to. Evony is not to blame for the spam, it's the people who use the application.
You might as well blame people's internet provider for spam since they connect the spammers to the internet.
Whether or not there is mallware or spyware in the application, it's still you who downloaded, installed it and agreed to the terms of use. It's not like they make pop ups and force you to click it to install spyware on your PC without knowing. You are fully in control of what you put on your PC, people shouldn't whine afterwards if something goes wrong.
As for the spam, it's your friends who spam you. Go complain to them about it, not to Evony. Besides Evony already stepped in and player who spam can be reported to reportspam[at]evony.com
Sounds like bull**** to me, unless you have proof or even the name from the trojan so we can look it up and find the real origin of it then this statement means as much as telling someone you are immortal.Being gullible myself. I actually downloaded this software for my PC when it first came out. I soon caught a worm related virus soon after. However one my buddies, who has never played the game Evony reported that his PC, had been infected with the same worm/trojan. Coincidence?
Please save yourself the trouble and keep the lies to yourself, if you don't like the company then that's your problem. If you don't like the game, again that's your problem. But don't try dragging people who like the game onto your side with false information and made up stories about trojans and mallware.
All you tried to do so far is put a negative view to the company, to the game and now to their software. Please do us a favor, keep the bull away, let the people have their opinion instead of feeding their minds with lies and false statements in hope you change their view. And most of all, get a life.
