This is an embarrassing situation, but I'm sure it will get fixed soon and everyone who wants to will be able to play on WN1. I've sent a couple of PMs to Dawnseeker, not snarky PMs, hopefully constructive PMs and I'm confident I'll get some sort of response.
We know that we will get our accounts back, so I'd suggest contacting alliances to start making sure you are diplomatically organized for the new server when everyone returns. If anyone wants to talk WMD, please contact me.
but have only one acc. in that group of server would have made it ez for them to move my acc but they didnt and i will wait and play on my other two server and be a pest about it in there side
When this mess all started up, I went to the page where the instructions were posted to click the word "page" to choose the character you wanted. Since I only had one choice, I clicked on the confirm button. BIG MISTAKE It not only did NOT give me my correct character, it went completely out of W1 where I was based and went back to server 5 (not w5, but server 5) and picked up a character that I had abandoned to come to W1. So I wrote a kind letter to Evony and asked if they could correct this. They sent me a CANNED RESPONSE that had nothing to do with my issue. Oddly enough, my wife wrote them about an issue and they sent the same CANNED RESPONSE letter to her. It was the same letter, word for word. I wrote them back and they sent me ANOTHER CANNED RESPONSE stating that my issue would be sent to "a special department". I have since come to realize that this is a euphemism for TRASH CAN. Not only did the "special department" never answer me, my ENTIRE ACCOUNT was obliterated by Evony because I could not log into it this weekend. Hundred's and hundreds of hours of work gone and also money wasted.
I would like to write Evony again, but I feel like I already know what the letter will say. It will read something like this:
Dear Player,
We have received your correspondence. We have looked into your situation and we have come to the following conclusion: We're not wrong, we're not sorry, and it's probably going to happen again.

I don't think they have made any mistakes read carefully: it said the servers will be closed at 0.00am on 31st August. Also it said it will take 24 hours ro prepare so im guessing it will start at 1st September at 0.00am which will mean 2nd September i think so.

I got the same CANNED RESPONSE for all three times i sent a complaint.
What is the point of a merge if you cant use it?
