I was looking at Germany for Geography homework and I've seen that Bavaria, Saxony and Thuringa are all in Germany. I knew about Bavaria but the other two... Does anyone know if the other state names are actually real places?

I do believe all those regions are real. The only one I'm not sure about is upper and lower Lorraine. I think its just Lorraine or whatever. But there is a Tuscany, a Movaria, etc.

Well, I'm tired of these forums. Very little humor in them anymore. Adios all.
Lorraine is a region in france.
Some people consider that the traditional province of Lorraine is limited to the duchy of Lorraine proper, while other people consider that it includes Barrois and the Three Bishoprics. The problem is that the duchy of Lorraine was at the origin duchy of upper Lorraine, not including the whole area called Lorraine.

They are all real places.
Since I can't find a listing with everything in one place I consolidated it below:
BAVARIA = southern Germany
BOHEMIA = western Czech Republic
BURGUNDY = parts in southeastern France and western Switzerland
CARINTHIA = southern Austria and northern Slovenia
FRANCONIA = northern Bavaria (in Germany)
FRIESLAND = northern Netherlands
LOMBARDY = northern Italy, bordering Switzerland
LOWER LORRAINE = parts of France, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium
MORAVIA = eastern Czech Republic
NORTH MARCH = northern Germany
ROMAGNA = north-central Italy
SAXONY = mid-eastern Germany
SWABIA = southwest Germany, above Switzerland
THURINGIA = central Germany
TUSCANY = west-central Italy
UPPER LORRAINE = northeast France
If you click on the state name you will be taken to a Wikipedia page for an actual page on the historic state.
My grandmother was born in Carinthia!!!
every one of these area names is real. some may not be used anymore, but at one time thats what certain regions were called.
Whether the geography is accurate, on the other hand, is a totally different question.

C'mon Evony, be original! Can you not think of names?
They were trying to be realistic. Although they failed miserably.
