And I agree - for large armies you should get a report. Attacking with 100k archers and getting no report is frustrating and I think unintended. It's good you can't scout with just 100 warriors now, but this was not the right way to go about fixing that problem.
You make an excellent point.
Your beacon tower can see and report on the number and types of troops approaching but suddenly after the battle is over the beacon tower is now blind and cant see the number and types of troops leaving the battlefield?
