I think you overestimate them. I`m very sure that they havent spent a ton of money retaining the services of a first class lawyer who is well versed in international business law.
I believe that the fact that they are in china insulates them pretty well from any and all lawsuits.
The chinese government is very lax in upholding international laws, particularly laws regarding copyright infringement for example.
