    Default Major Food Issue Help

Ok I know have reached 12k archers and various other troops....6k warriors, 3k workers, etc

I am having major food issues. I am always in the red. I have 8 farms all lvl 7 and 1 @ 8 I am upgrading them all to 8 and going to 9 today to try and fihgt this off.

I end the night with 1 mil in food and when i get on the enxt day I have 400k beause of my food shortages. What can I do to increase food and reduce the red negative.

It looks like the warriors is what sucks up my food for the most part. SHould I only build them when I need them? Any other suggestions are helpful. I own a lvl 6 and lvl 7 food valley as well. I am in the process of getting 2 more food valleys and ditching my lumber valleys.

    - More valleys
    - More farms/upgrade farms
    - Farm NPC's
    - Use plowshares/iron rakes (items that increase food production by 25 % for xx hrs)
    - Kill troops
    - Buy more food

That's all I can think of now

does anyone know whether the use of multiple plowshares works?
    (so do you gain a 100*1.25*1.25 = 156% productivity)
    ... If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much ...

You have to build and farm NPCs!!!!! I stay 1 mill in the red zone at my main city!!! I had to build 4 level 5 Npcs to supply my army with food!!! each level5 NPC gives you 3 mill in food!

No, it doesn't work. Applying multiple plowshares extends the time, it does not increase the production by another 25%.

yep I farm NPC and other cities for food but is there way to get out of red numbers. I hate having to worry about it even with massive amounts of food

That's just how it is, even if you get in the green now.. at some point you will go in the red again and then the only solution is to farm NPC's or buy it from the market.

Get used to it, I'm -3,465,773 food an hour. It took me a while to get comfortable with negative food, but if you don't you'll never have a worthwhile army.
