    Since you were so nice to us by giving us a free grace period, I am opening a post that offers you, CIVONY, the same courtesy.

    You have 7 days to get your act together. Correct the errors with medals, fix the server lag, create an equitable system for trading cash vs coin, and rebuild the customer trust that you are quickly losing.

    After the 7 days, I will change the rules and make it impossible for you to progress any further.

    Get the point?

    Hehe, everyone is afraid of responding to things like this because they are afraid of becoming a target.

    The real issue here I am sure is they have a horrible business model. Why do they continue to spend so much money on marketing when it is apparent that even the game mechanics themselves are flawed and have not been worked out? Combine the game changing (though I give them props on further developing the UI) with all the downtime...it just makes it hard to really imagine Civony being a game I would want to give my money to.

    Much of this stuff should of been worked out before it was released, and by putting so much effort into the marketing they are bringing hordes of new players which will eventually become frusturated and leave.

    None of this is against the programmers or any of the people involved with the technical aspect. The fault lies completely with the management and the people at top, but hey...it's your money anyways, right?

    I'm going to go click on a few of those ads scattered around Slashdot and other games right now...

    I feel really bad about posting that, I almost feel like a troll. I just feel really frusturated because everything in this game requires so much attention, that when **** hits the fan...I'm left feeling a bit bitter and resentful.

    lol, me? None, and I'll assume neither do the support staff and most of the IT staff.

    What a great response to somebody who vented and then explained that they were just frustrated with the issues. It make me feel so much more confident in the people who have "authority". Thanks Lord Zylok!

    I won't speak for the original poster, but it seems to me that he was speaking with the authority of a paying customer who is considering taking his business elsewhere. Clear enough to me.

    I've been away for the past few days, so I can only read about whats happened, I've been on all night and not had any problems at all. Although the server says it's early evening, I would of thought some lag or downtime, but had none at all. But I wouldn't of thought 7 days would be enough to get the game to a perfect standard where every bug is fixed, with no lag or downtime.

    (I think the poster is using the reference of 7 days beginner protection he is going to offer civony some sort of 7 day period for...)

    (ahhh! there it is, he is stating that they have 7 days to start correcting the obvious issues with the game that completely destroy his will or want to play. After all, when marketing its about the customers. Im sure any mature working person understands this concept.)

    (*lightbulb in head clicks on* Oh I see, if they dont attempt to correct these issues, he is quite clearly going to quit playing the game. Nothing in this world is free. A business doesn't just make a game so everyone can play for free and they can sleep better at night knowing they helped entertain someone for a few minutes out of the day. So therefor in order to have an effective business you need loyal paying customers. Thats his authority, he can decide when he stops being a customer. If you comprehended what he said you would of understood the joke as well, and instead of understanding the joke, you just became part of it)
