I don't see anything wrong with a guy having more than one piercing. It all comes down to location though. I personally don't find piercings attractive anywhere but the ears. If I'm looking at someone's face, I don't want to constantly be distracted by shiny objects everywhere, and places like the nose, bellybutton and mouth seem... rather gross to me.

And neck tattoos can be attractive sometimes, though probably closer to the shoulder or upper back would be better. Upper arms can be good too, but like Vadrosza said you have to consider how appropriate they are in formal situations.

Lower back generally seems to be a favoured location (for girls, guys idk), although then people generally don't get to see the tattoo overly much, and you'd see it almost never unless you look in a mirror. Ankle tats can be good too since they're generally easy to cover if need arises, and fairly easy to show off when it doesn't.

I agree with this. I have one piercing, and it holds great significance to me. In particular, because I wear one of my mother's (who has passed) earing's. There is a full story behind my earing, but, its one of those things, that is a personal individual story.

As for a tattoo, I have been thinking about getting one for a long time now, the one that I want to get, is called an Icthus, which is the image of a fish, and if I get it, I want to get it on my left shoulder.

me and my 3 best friends are getting matching tattoos on our ankles. it has 4 different components, one to represent each of us. the design itself is a rose, with a star on it, its on fire, and there is a vine surrounding it. its kinda hard to explain but it looks cool.

The earring story is very sweet (for lack of a better word), Logrus. I think piercings and tattoos are definitely better when they have some sort of personal meaning to the person, and that way you generally know you won't regret it.

And Icthus is that sort of ><> fish right? Or were you planning something more detailed/personalized?

I stay away from names and portraits of anyone. I can understand deep connections with maybe family members and such, but to me I treat the body as symbolism for us being human, and so I would go with something deep that has symbolic meaning to you. Some sign that seems older then time.

That's just the way I view it. I think egyptian symbols and imagery, or even crosses, or something that resonates into your inner beliefs.
