I'm actually surprised that some enterprising player hasn't developed an application for this. Seems like a fairly easy thing to implement. A customizable map that can be run seperate from Evony.

It'd have to be done dynamic with curl or something. The real way for it to be done is for Evony to offer it as a library and process. XML based would then allow people to show it on other web pages etc.

Dynamic in that it's pulling information live from the server, curl in that it's a programming language that is like someone sitting at a computer clicking. So if it was possible to be outside of evony servers it would have to be like a user sitting and viewing the whole map very fast. Storing it and then allowing it to be viewed... again dyamicly.

sure it can be done in visual studio using a webcrawler per server without having to use there own data base as a ref.
