Some people like to give their heros names that help you identify their srengths.

    Examples:

Politics heros could be Obama, McCain, Clinton, Bush, etc
Attack heros could be Ali, Rambo, Bourne, etc
Intelligence heros could be Einstein, Hawkings, etc

This can help you a lot with remember which heros are good at what when you have over a dozen of them.

Well what about when you have a couple dozen heros or more?

It starts becoming hard to remember which hero is which and who you want to level and who has the better base stats and all of that.

Here is a solution that I use.

I name my heros according to their stats.

    Example:

Hero1 is 51 Politics, 12 Attack, 101 Intel (with their base level 1 intel being 66)
Hero2 is 11 Politics, 120 Attack, 33 Intel (with their base level 1 attack being 69)
Hero3 is 104 Politics, 22 Attack, 31 Intel (with their base level 1 politics being 67)
Hero4 is 108 Politics, 14 Attack, 23 Intel (with their base level 1 politics being 69)

    I would name them:

    I101-b66
    A120-b69
    P104-b67
    P108-b69

Naming them this way allows me to know their key stats and base stats without opening up the Hero menu every time.

It comes in handy a lot!

I hope this helps some of you,

    Take Care!
I use a similiar tactic. All my heros are named by thier base stat so I know which ones are better when i have an option. I use names like 68attack, 70attack, 68polly, 65polly. Your extra info requires changing thier name every level, hehe. Only base matters.

I name my heroes in ascending order of respective mode:
Eden01 (just used name that came with her), Eden02, etc- strong Attack, Intel above 55
Adam01, Adam02, etc (Yeah, broke them up by gender- just wanted to)
Bert01, Bert02, etc - stong attack, but stupid
    Bertha01, Bertha02 - You get the idea
    Mayor01, Mayor02 - one for each city
Seemed like the simplest way - works for me YMMV

I put the thing they're good for (attack, politics, intelligence) in front of the name, but I also name them for someone famous in that field. For example:

    a-Rommel
    p-Kennedy
    i-Curie

It's an at-a-glance system, but makes it easy to keep different heroes who have the same strong stat separate in your mind.

I give my heroes a rank according to their battle level. My main attack hero is Gen(name). I have about 4 Col(name) who are over 100 attack. Then I have assorted Capt(name) who are over 70. Lieut(name) are newer heroes with base stats that make them worth leveling. Sgt(name) are disposable heroes like if I send out 40 waves at once to attack an NPC.

My mayors just have plain names, if I happen to need them for attacks I recognize who they are in the drop down and send them last when the target is weakest.

I have one Int heroe for research, he is named Brainiac (and I notice a lot of players name their int hero that ) so I always recognize him.

I name mine with a combination of base stat and lvl, so:

    P68/32
    A64/28
    I62/18

etc. It's not a big deal to rename them when they level.

are you on drugs? lol just joking, I have to agree with JPA, names give it the realistic feeling, like your really commanding someone, not just a robot like r2d2.
I name my heroes after the Seven Deadly sins, the rest are roman names ^_^

    Guess I'm even less "creative".

My politics Heros are simply called: Mayor
My Intel heroes are called: Teacher
My highest attack hero for each city is given a specific name
the rest, Just Numbers designating lvl / att
