5) PSV was founded 31st of August 1913 for the employees of the Dutch light bulb (now electronics) company Philips, it wasn't just a football club, it was as it's now called an omni-club, besides football there's at least 20 different sports and culture departments that are allowed to have the name PSV (amongst others, baseball, chess, cricket, rugby, swimming, a choir, an orchestra, checkers, korfbal.....). As for the football team, only in 1928, so 15 years after foundation non-employees of Philips were allowed to join the team.
