That item was a store bought item. It was also available in the marketplace for sale by other players for ingame gold. Those players who sold these types of items were usually looking for enough gold to buy other items that would give them even more of an advantage in PvP. It was an ok game but it became pretty obvious that it was going to cost a lot more than I was prepared to pay to be anything like competitive at the highest levels.
Some Evony items are overpriced for what you get but really aren't necessary for most situations.

I used to play that game too. After about 6 weeks of playing it became obvious to me that the "pay to play" players would always have a huge advantage, and that non paying people would never be able to be competative. I played for 6 months and then quit, but that is the nature of all free to play/pay to play games, the free players will never be able to compete with the pay players.basically the free players are just there to be used as bait to give the pay players something to kill and to spend more money doing it.
It`s against my religion to pay to play video games

shaiya hasnt done a very good job of managing their game either, they have alienated alot of players who have left to find greener pastures.
