Guess what? Evony forum mods fail again!.......
Men, Women, Countrymen, Trolls, Lend me your ears...

I get pretty defensive when my forum moderators get attacked, and this thread certainly caught my attention.

Let me clear up a couple of things:

To Jay: You have 3 accounts registered on these forums using the same IP. Each of these accounts has 1 post. One account you used to post a link to a direct competitor. When we see 1 post accounts post ANYTHING questionable, we usually err on the side of caution. You may not realize this, but there are naughty people out there intent on causing mischief on our forums. Maybe in this case it didn't apply to you --- but suspicious to say the least.

So Jay, let me help you out here --- I'll ban your other two accounts, and you can start fresh with this one. Let's move on here and you are welcome to join our forums as a new, civil, mature, constructive forum member. We look forward to having you.

To our community at large: News flash == Our moderating team is human. And all-volunteer. And they do amazing work. If you have a serious problem with one of them, let me or Dawnseeker know, in private, and we will address it. But public attacks against any of our mod team will result in swift, painful, and permanent justice being inflicted upon you.

Finally, our forums are a community, and yes we have rules. And sometimes we are faced with new situations that require some good judgment, and not every single situation that we face is covered by "rules". Frankly that would be a pretty lame forum to belong to. So we have simple rules, easy to follow. And when folks get out of line, we start off with warnings, and then infractions. Permanent banning only if absolutely necessary.

Finally, any member of our forum community may always email me directly at Mike@evony.com. I promise you the very best customer support that we can provide. I ask that you stay respectful, civil, and kind to our moderator team. Vent your frustrations on me. That's what I get paid for.

Best regards,
Mike
