Let's see. Should anyone care if third-party sites are being paid in game cents for routing traffick to Evony? Speaking for myself, nope.
I am stuck online all day nearly everyday and I have yet to be bombarded by Evony ads. One ad brought me to the game, and it was a "clean" add at that (the screaming face dude who looks rather constipated.)
Most, if not the vast majority of complaints about Evony ads are based on frustration over not being able to "conquer" the freemium game. Explaining this further would require me to go off topic though.
iEvony is a completely different situation. iEvony has nothing to do with routing traffic. It is based solely on numbers of accounts created. iEvony and the Evony ad campaign are not the same thing. They may very well be linked by some players who want to capitalize on the opportunity and who have the knowledge necessary to get traffic moved to Evony.com. However, moving traffic and securing new accounts are also not the same thing.
