I agree with this entirely. And unfortunately, as recorded throughout history, in war you will have many instances where the strong prey on the weak. The only thing you can do is build better defenses and troops. The flaw in this game is that combat favors the defender. Keep that in mind and you'll do just fine
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful; hate me because... Well, okay. Hate me because I'm beautiful.
What I mean by the game favors the defender is that when you attack, at most you can only send out 130K in each wave but there's no limit to the number of troops you can hold in your city. Now of course if you have over a million troops in your city there's gonna be more people attacking you.
Rather than that bein' so "unfair" what the high ranker did (albeit, it was a dirty wee trick he pulled), I'd honestly blame your fail alliance more. A good alliance would stand by you in that regard and not accept such ridiculous threats. Find a new, better alliacne.
One could also argue that anyone attackin' you at any point in time ever is unfair. Or that troops have to eat is unfair. Or that the game continues while you're offline is unfair. Or maybe that other people started before you is unfair?
How far will these complaints about fairness go before people jus' shut up and play the game?
