I know that they all deserved their respective bans (Myself included) but surely you see the humor in it? It APPEARS as though an example were made, regardless of the truth.

The way it was explained is that they dont enforce the written policy that is available to all the players to read and abide by, they enforce their particular interpretation of the policies intent.
since most of us aren`t mind readers we arent able to know exactly how any other person is going to interpret the intent of any part of the written policy and rules, therefore we have no way of knowing if or when we might be violating the interpreted intent of the policy.
Depending on which mod or evony rep is doing the intrepetation of the policies intent, nothing may happen or everything might happen.

I've said it before, I say it again, you twist people's words to suit your own intent.

For those who aren't people who are trying to poison minds against GOOD moderators, that quote is from a thread asking why a thread advertising another game got closed.
I point out that advertising on a competitor's personal forum is not only a cheap, low tactic, it is also against this forum's rules, as with many other countless forums.
Foxybunny had said that to indicate that she would have closed it because it is a low tactic, whether it had been against the rules or not, because to advertise on a competitor's forums is a despicable tactic.
