good point. ^_^
No visisble return. Jus' because you don't kill 10%+ doesn't mean you kill none.
If he has 2m troops you need to kill 200k for a report; you can kill up to 199.9k of his troops and not get a report; is that really no returns? I think not.
If you wanna take the guy down you gotta suck up to the fact that you're gunna take troop losses...thas part of a war game.
You said yourslef you don't do anythin' w/ your troops; thas your choice to sit and farm permanantly for the troops that you choose to not use. Why even bother havin' them if you don't use them? Might as well send them to waste some other guys troops.
Me and my alliance? We accept that we lose troops in war. We also use them. We're also not bored. We win?
You fail at reading comprehension. I never actually stated what I do or do not do with my troops; that is a blatant assumption on your part. I simply stated the state the game is stuck at: playing defense and farming NPCs for hours each day to keep your army feed and keeping your defenses intact or spending hours each day spamming cities with attacks to break said defenses.
I have gone through hundreds of thousands of troops, daily. I know what I am talking about.
The game is Darwinian. It's about extinction. W12 was merged to WN3. As the servers reduce to l33t 10%, they then get shoveled in to L33t 10% over several servers, so we can further reduce that number to l33t of 4 servers. That then gets sent to mulch with WN1 and WN2 in a WWN1.
All the while, nothing new is added. Everyone has capped out research, capped out cities and they throw larger and larger numbers at each other in a war of attrition. Who can out bore the guy beside him?
Unless you are a hard core addict willing to log, in intervals over an 18 hr day, you will fail. You will be be farmed out of the game with no mechanism to prevent it. The game is not a persistent game. It is a stagnation of 3 weeks of work, where you then apply brute determination to stay. None of the people I started with are here. Alliances are a joke. 70% of any given alliance is silent, slow growth population. Translation? Alts.
Simple conclusion? Log in, waste some time but keep very low expactations. It's fast food MMO. Don't expect WoW, EvE or LotRO quality from it. It isn't there.
You're absolutely right. Tellin' me that you jus' sit and farm NPCs all day and feel like it lacks depth, and that you don't wanna sit and sacrifice troops for no return in no way implies that you do nothin' w/ them.
It does, at least, imply that you don't do enough.
You don't want to sacrifice them the same way no one wants to kill off their troops, but you're also complainin' about havin' to feed them. Go put them to good use, get rid of them by gettin' rid of the enemies as well; no need to feed them and the enemy defences are down...two birds w/ one stone.
And the game is not stuck at playin' defa dn NPC farmin' all day. I comprehend what you're sayin' perfectly fine; maybe you're jus' ignorin' me?
Maybe you jus' ignored the bit where I said that my top15 alliance is loaded w/ some of the highest end-gamers and not a single one of them has ever complained about bein' bored and jus' sittin' farmin' on defence? Every single one of them has kept active, keep interested and kept away from the place that you are stuck at; playin' defence and NPC farmin' all day long.
Again w/ the playin' checkers w/ chess pieces...it's only borin' cuz you choose it to be.
huh... well i guess hes messing with you are hes trying to help you...

I think by this point it's pretty much agreed he probably tried to help o.o
We do that a lot in my alliance...we wind up recruitin' folk from other alliances that we were at war w/...we pull in folk from everywhere, even if we've destroyed half their alliance; doesn't mean they wouldn't fit in w/ us.
ah Ok he is giving you 2 options to stop the attacks. Move or join his alliance.
What is so hard to understand about that one?
Do one or the other or be attacked.
