You are correct Pokey, however, such is irrelevant with my post(s) as I was merely analyzing a specific facet of socio-political history in the tradition of Thucydides-an analytical, rational, informed and factual basis for a particular viewpoint/summary that leads to the formation of a particular emendation. I have maintained that the role of the bourgeoisie was not irrelevant to the development of history but served a purpose through which the contemporary world is a product of. In essence, I was fighting against an unsupported and biased claim that utilized no historical references/factual information by utilizing factual data and combining such with the overall/overarching context of the particular matter as the edifice of the infrastructure of my analysis.
Such an event in history in regards to social stratification must be examined to see what role(s) it had in shaping the contemporary historical context as well as stressing the concept of historical dynamism which is shifting and forever changing through the vicissitudes of time. The particular historical context of the role of the bourgeoisie through the examples of classical political philosophy and the Orleanist tradition in Europe during the Age of European Romanticism cannot be removed from the historical course of events/general history but it must be analyzed to see what role/impact it has played throughout the collective role of historic consciousness and of how the contemporary world has emerged through such specific socio-political elements.
[Such is the role of the intellectual/scholarly field of the philosophy of history; examples of individuals who attempted to analyze historical events amidst social, political, cultural,
military, religious, economic factors, etc include Thomas Carlyle, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Thomas Hobbes, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Immanuel Kant, etc.]
My analytical posts are in response to biased and unsupported posts/claims regarding economic and socio-political factors; I was merely offering supporting facts to reveal that all the events/occurrences in history are not simple but that all such events are multifaceted and significant in the development of general history. Some users have utilized a biased and unsupported viewpoint with mere generalizations in which I have responded by offering a more complete viewpoint of history through the analysis of factual events and occurrences and through the synthesis of numerous facets and factors; viewing the interrelatedness/interrelationships between historical events/factors/occurrences/facets.
