I had a MySpace once. I got pressured into joining it so this girl I knew could add me as a friend and "keep in touch" even though we talked on AIM almost everyday and ended up messaging maybe a grad total of 3 times on MySpace. I deleted it years ago though. I think social networking sites are pointless, if you want to keep in touch with friends call them or hang out arcades, movies, etc. If you want to meet new people talk to people at school or work or go on a message board if you're shy about RL encounters. There are dozens of ways to do everything that social networking sites do without exposing details of your personal life to people you've never met. At least that's what I think.
