I agree to an extent, but I don't know if I would say that it wouldn't happen because of selfishness or being too self-involved. I really think it would be very difficult for people to understand it, and for a lot of people, what they don't understand they tend to resist or dismiss. I could be wrong with this statement but it looks like a very complicated system/structure. The majority of us are not astrophysicists or scholars and from what I've tried to read on the subject I'm thinking that you practically need to be one of those to comprehend it.

I know that it's not necessary for me to understand everything about it, but it's something I would need to learn if the change did happen. That's intimidating. If the benefits are really what Escalante described, then I think it would be a no-brainer to switch over. I would be really excited about it.
