    I've had success using 30k+ warriors, 12k+ archers, and 250 ballistas. Generally lose about 3k warriors and 2k archers. Net gain is usually around 900k to 1 mil gold per trip taking into account the losses. That can vary somewhat depending on the market prices.

    I have attacked with 16k warriors, 7.5k archers, and 250 ballistas. Lost about 4k warriors and archers each. Net gain was only about 300k gold on that one. The time to recover is the bigger issue with that, though.

    Generally the more the merrier when hitting attacking it. Make sure to send enough transporters to carry everything too. I greatly prefer them over workers as they won't get killed in the attack.

    i use the following. even though i use to many transports and ballista, for archers and warriors, seem to be a more than decent amount of deaths for outcome!

    (ps i dont know if the rams actually do anything, but i send them anyway.)

    If i recall correctly, this is what I used on server 2 a few weeks back to farm the city for gold:

    One wave of 5k warriors (Which actually wiped nearly all of their army out, save the archer towers. This was before the patch where melee could damage them)

    Then a wave of 15k archers, and 1 of everything.

    My loses were usually around 500 archers.
    I always had ivory horn on.
    Hero attack = 90-100
    Archery level = 7

    If everybody did not know about this I would call it a Bug. For the loss of a few 1000 Warriors you get all the go you could ever need. Craziness. I can pop four at a time every two hours as often as I want.

    Pretty much makes most everything else irrelevant. Raid my neighbors for resources? Why the heck bother? I need Prestige more than Honor anyway. Now... if someone my Alliance was at War with would come within 50 miles of me... then we could have some fun.

    NPC Towns: Better resources, lower losses, AND Prestige. Why Raid your neighbors?

    They should really make the recharge rate on NPC Towns a tenth if what it is now. 950,000 Au respawning in less than an hour? What Player city could POSSIBLY generate that amount of resources. Even the 3 Million Food is way off chart production wise.

    So what do you use, with how many losses?

    The reason to raid neighbors is because they don't always have very many defenses. There are also a lot more players than there are npc's.
