I love bows- I used to practice archery when I was a child... unfortunately that was a while ago and I can't answer any of your questions...

OK, I guess that makes my post kinda useless

    But, Huzzah, yay bows!

The best type of bow is a repeating crossbow.

Depends, are you talking about modern bows or older ones?

Have fun with that. I'm glad you still have the...imagination...to think that Van Helsing was a true story.

Sorry, I'm just feeling particularly insulting today.

So what will you do when they call your name and you're not ready to go?
Everyone will stare at you and tell you what you know
That you're in too deep and you can't quite keep your secrets, one and all
We might just make it after all, on our own

lol, repeating crossbows are true ^_^ really they are, the chineses invented them, and also found out the name of that samurai bow,
it's called the yumi and it beats the longbow ^_^
yumi bow arrows fly very straight but longbow arrows steers off-course for a moment before steering back to the target again,
and the yumi bow can penetrate much deeper than the long bow ^_^

Pah, the longbow owns crossbows [of that era] Agincourt is a great example of the longbows victory over the crossbow.

I mainly care about speed and accuracy from medium to close distance. A repeating crossbow from ancient China (China invented the crossbow and the repeating crossbow) would own hordes of longbow men.
