My scouting guide

mmm ... One post says 100 scouts for every 5k enemy, the next post says use 007 agent tactical style ... and "afaik" is thrown around fairly readily too. Is this really a guide here or a half educated guessing guide? Perhaps we need a Guide Topic Rule which requires that posters refrain from simply posting "what they do", regardless of whether it is, or is not the most advantageous tactic, and instead focus on what they know is proven to be the most advantageous, otherwise readers have to trawl through a spate of opinion and then make judgements via "reading between the lines". Not my idea of a guide.

I don't want to take anything away from the fact that those who have posted information are willing to generously share their opinions and have given their personal time to do so. That much is still appreciated, but it does make it hard work when looking for accurate info' from voices of experience.

In a sentence: I think Berg's post succinctly clarifies the reasons for sending many or simply one scout. Perhaps the "Guide" topics could be moderated so that the posts with accurate explanations alone remain at the end of the day?
