So here I am playing Evony.I'm JUST about to build a new city when some guy joins... and gets put right in my only space to build a new city.
Considering that this new player is dormant, it makes the game seem like a waste of time. Now I can't expand, and the new city has absolutely no point. The game designers should really make a way to take out all the players who join and NEVER PLAY THE GAME AGAIN!
This is how I think they should do it.
1st they send a E-mail to the player warning that his city may be removed... say 1 month after his account has last been accessed.
2nd if the account sees no more action for a week after the E-mail then the city is turned over to NPC's. If the player who originally owned the city logs on after this has taken place the NPC city is then returned to his possession. While he is away though the city should be able to be attacked and CAPTURED by other players. Thus, expanding their empire. This would make the game MUCH more interesting. You shouldn't have any complaints from players who lose cities. A month without playing means that they are almost defiantly not playing, if they ARE playing and just can't access it for some time then they will be warned, and if and when they return they will regain control of their city(s). (If they haven't been captured by then.)![]()
