First of all, thanks JPA32 for resurrecting me ^_^ nice to be back, and I've been looking on the threads right now. this quotes are what really got me

let's learn from this incident, stop being a bunch of strangers and start being a community again. It's for the good of everyone OT member or not.
let this thread be a start of new beginnings. in here let's introduce our selves again. most of us here are new comers, even I am just a new comer.

let us put suggestions here on how to further improving OTD, as well as other sections. if you have a beef with anyone put it here and let the other know. then reconcile, right know I hated the way I got to know other OT guys, Tricky and I had a fight before we became friends, and riko really got on the wrong foot at first. I don't know about you guys but I really want to stop making friends that way. and again I don't know about you guys but if I really want to stay here. let's relive glory days. (seriously I wasn't there when that happened) so help me guys,
again let's put suggestions here, let's re-introduce ourselves to each other, and pledge to stop spamming as much as possible, stop trolling, stop being so negative(hail foxybunny ^_^). let's put much more sense to OT thread, not meatloaf thread(riko.... lol peace ^_^)
and I feel like most of the new comers don't really know mods, and what they are beyond that, so calling all mods foxy,hods,bickyz,cyhort,logrus,raine,chino and to the rest that I forgot to mention to re-introduce themselves and also before implementing rules help in suggesting things to improve Evony community.
same goes for the reps( thalin.... thalin..... well let's face it he's the only rep I knowlol ^_^)
also the admin.
Evony is slowly changing it's ads slowly changing it's attitude, that attitude that most users got mad at.
I think it's time to change our ways too.
p.s. let's not talk about the ads okay? they're changing it. maybe not that fast but give them a break.

I you think this is cool and worth talking about. then post. but if you're just going to rep me (not that I'm asking for it) and not posting there. then dob't bother repping me at all.
and wow that was long. when I type threads like this, very long, I tend to mispeel and incorrect the grammar lol so give me a break sorry bout that ^_^

I already tried suggestin' this in response to that, but apparently a fresh start is beyond our abilities.

I think we're well on our way, despite jaded pessimisms.
OTD has been slowly shapin' itself up over the past few days and I think it can advance a long way from there.

OT is very slowly healing. Storm left because of ONE SPAMMER!!!! We're getting better. It's like the credit crunch. We are coming out of it.

Yes! That's just what I was thinking! Stop being pessimistic and start being optimistic. If we all think and believe we can get OT back on it's feet then what's stopping us?

I think that we are still a community, it's just that many of the origanal community have left for one reason or another. There will always be spam, but spam is good from time to time, in small amounts. If we just stop and think about it for a minute, OT just needs to balance itself, it's like a set of scales, atm the spam is heavier than the discussion.

Just my two cents.

I would suggest that OT stop looking at itself as some sort of select group that requires membership. It seems like 'members' are free to spam up as many threads as they feel like, just because they are 'members'.

These forums are open to anyone who has signed up to the wider boards. If you don't want 'outsiders' posting in your threads, take it somewhere else more private.
I wander around the boards looking for anything that is interesting or amusing.

It's only natural that people will come and go over time. Let the drama queens sing their coda on their way out. In the end, these forums will still be here long after every 'regular' poster has moved on.

I for one will continue to post whatever I want, wherever I want and as long as it is relevant, brings something more than spam to the thread and breaks no rules, there's nothing to stop me.

Having said that, welcome back.

You know what, what the hell. I'll go with it. This man's gonna be the guy who puts OT back on it's feet. And I'm glad you realize the seriousness of a perma. Welcome back, resurected one.
