Joe, I understand your concerns, and acknowledge them.
However, you jump to conclusions. Simply because spam was the last thing I was raving about, and because I offered no other explanations, you all, every single one of you, assumed that spam was the sole reason I left.
It wasn't.
Sure, spam is part of the reason, but another part is the call of real life. Still another is how astonishingly fanboy OTD became. Valid criticism was wholly rejected, without justified defense, no matter the subject. And no, that is not solely the wizard thread.
I feel like someone who is simply shouting in a soundproof room. Sure, you know I'm there. But it's sort of pointless. If I join the spam, I'm called a hypocrite. If I go against the spam, I'm called a troll. I'm not left with any options.
But that's not even the top of the barrel. We are no longer the people we were. Devis made a point, that night. I have changed from how I used to be. I've become docile, like a neutered lion. To realise this, it just makes me think, that I need to spend some time not posting. It's a break from the drama, from all the bull**** I see, and from the exasperation I suffer every time I see a completely ****ing retarded thread or post that really shouldn't exist, knowing that if I so much as breath a word of my discontent, that people will whine, and people will *****, and in will swoop a mod to strike me down simply for speaking my mind, for being opinionated (Another thing that should change.)

Feel free to share this with anyone whom you will. Actually, I encourage it.

I will come back, of my own accord, at a time of my choosing, but until that time, just know that I'll be watching, now and again.

I know where Storm is coming from. Its where I sit. I tried to tell you all it was more then the spam why he left. Anyways, thats enough of that. I will miss Storm.

I'll say one thing for Storm. He defends himself well. Although, we've all seen more than our share of threads complaining--and that's really all it is, a massive complain-a-thon--about the spam, yet no one truly does anything about it. Because, what is there to do? Like Demon was basically saying, the only thing that we can control on these forums is ourselves, yet he did not do even that. In my eyes, although he said it was "Fighting spam with spam," he was basically just joining in the troupe of giggling schoolchildren hellbent on destroying us all. So once again, although I apologize for any part I had in Storm leaving the forums, I do not regret it.

I don't see your point. You are complimenting him then insulting him. Then you apologize without regret. Let me clear up a few things:

1. an apology means you regret, so saying you do one but not the other is... strange

2. you start off saying that he defends himself well but he is a spammer. That seems to me like a "What?" moment.

I would say that, excepting Conrad, I have the lowest spam count on OT. I also have never created a thread complaining. I have been here long enough to see that people are just bitter tight now and I do not know why.

I was one of the people who cause him to leave ((and the original post makes it sound as if I was)) caused grief to many of the members of the Evony forum community, such as the majority of the posters in this thread. I apologize to those people, not to Demon.
