    Default You guessed it...Customer Support

    This thread is not asking for support or help...it is just my opinion.

    Reading through the threads of this forum it becomes very evident that "Customer Support" is pretty well non-existent.
    I myself lost 60k troops in the last server maintenance and have sent 2 requests in to "Tech Support" for help with the problem. It has been almost 12 hours since I lost the troops and still no answer as to what is happening.
    I am an avid player of online games and believe that game developers should be supported financially from players for "Good" games. I supported this game to the tune of $200.00 US believing that the game was pretty good.
    I still believe that the game is good, but I found out that player support is non-existent. Why on earth would I support a game that does not support it players?
    I also have a nagging doubt about the loss of in-game items and troops...with no one willing to answer my questions about the loss, it leads me to believe that this might be some kind of intentional "loss" to entice players to buy more "coins" to try to help replace what they have lost.

    Needless to say, I will be doing a "Chargeback" through my credit card company. Maybe in the future when they decide to fill the most basic of needs in reference to Customer Support, I will again support them.

    If you really spent $200.00, maybe you should choose some other forum nick. :P Now you need to go off and spend a while thinking how all this came to be. I'd recommending studying evolution with special reference to the co-evolution of sheep and wolves. Without the evolution of the one, you could never have the evolution of the other. See? On the other hand, where there are sheep then there shall shall be wolves also.

    I enjoy studying the evolution of sheep myself. Most entertaining. Probably time too move on though.

    The above is a perfect example of an unconstructive, pointless bait and flame post.

    To the OP, sorry to hear your loss. In a free market, the customers will ALWAYS have the last laugh. Others have uncovered the history behind UMGE's business practices elsewhere (simply google UMGE, WoW, gold seller), so it is not surprising that customer support is nil. I have also lost stuff during these unannounced server resets and maintenances. And personally have decided not to spend any more until they improve.

    There is no real Customer Support in this game. I sent a bug report via the Contact us button. 2 days later I got a 2 line Form reply

    xpertgamer? more like noob, cant you tell from the site, and from just reading the forums this game support is run by 15 year olds from india?

    Umm...no couldn't really tell that it was run by 15 year old's from India...but i CAN spot a troll fairly easily.

    its true i have been waiting since friday to get my account unfroze... its a decent stupidly addicting game that passes the hours sitting in Iraq wonderfully...least i only lost $50 bucks.. sorry to here about the $200 that bites...but yeah.. dont expect anyting from them.. i cant even get a message reply to any of the 5 i have submitted

    I didn't loose anything...a simple phone call to Amex and all is done. The only ones who lost are the makers of the game.
