Thread: Get rid of scout bombing

    Why would they get rid of scout bombs? How else are you going to diminish a city that has 2.5mil archers in it? What they need to do is get rid of the rally spot limit. Imagine the epic war reports people could post if you had hundreds of thousands/millions against equally sized defense. It would be pretty awesome. In my opinion, rally spot cap is the only real flaw to this game, and I just don't understand why they can't change it???

    because it will no longer strategy if the rally spot is unlimit. it whoever got the biggest army win but me i dont mind of them taking off the limit rofl it be fun

    Scout bombs are a bit silly to be fair. Scouts are scouts, they aren't combatants. They only stand a chance due to their speed, and that is only high so you don’t have to wait 10 years to see if someone’s got a lot of troops.

    Pikes vs. ponies and archers vs. rams make sense, as they are strategically suited to each other.

    That being said, the rally spot cap does seriously limit attack potential and should definitely be looked at - but increasing or removing the cap should be balanced by making troops that are defending tougher. The only reason defending troops have the advantage at the moment is due to the massive difference in numbers and defense should still maintain an advantage over attack.

    And Rodri, grow up. Calling someone a carebear just because they don't agree with a game mechanic that you like is a bit childish don't you think?

    scouts have a finite atk.. they have a finite speed,much much higher than the arena dimensions.. they can reach arcs in 1 round .. so what wrong with that ?

    think of scout bombs as assassins and its a really good that we have something other than 100k rams to kill 600k archers defending a city and they are costly i mean 1 mil scouts to kill 250k archers?
    so no SCOUT BOMBS ARE GOOD :P

    Its clear that when making this game they had at least partially real life in mind. I dont think many rulers sent out a bunch of scouts, and thought about them being assassins and they transformed into an army of faster than lightning ninjas and won a war.

    The reason their speed is so high is because its to signify that they would be travelling across the land very fast as they are scouts. It doesnt mean they get to the front of the battle, run so fast the archers dont even see them, then crush your whole army. That's just silly.
