Easy fix. Defend yourself appropriately. In fact the ability of scouts makes the combined arms defense more important.
The only time this was used against me the attacker lost more in resources to build the troops than I did. Quite a bit more. Other things like hero level and number of barracks being equal I could replace my losses in a little less than half the time it was going to take him.
It's hard for me to see a tactic that even when used in the ideal situations results in severe losses (even with wins) to the attacker as somehow making the game imbalanced.
well by your resonning Rams should be used either since if you put 125k rams together you can take down any defence that doesn't have many cataphracts or catapults. 100k rams can take out 1mil archers
I never called anyone a name. I reffered to a historic event, namely 'The Carebear Wars'. If you had been around long enough, you would know what I was reffering to. It's not so much name-calling as a form of short hand that those who have been playing the game long enough would understand.
Even if I had called the OP a carebear, so what? It's just a name for a style of play, the same as turtle or griefer are.
PEACE
a/ Scoutbombs make sense. They were made specifically to scout, but they can fight too. Workers were made to transport, but they can fight too. Send millions of them and eventually you will overrun the enemy.
b/ Scoutbombs are easy, easy, easy to stop. And I don't mean fight against, I mean stop dead in their tracks. If you have as many swordsmen as you do archers you'll kill their whole attack off and they'll be lucky to even kill 5k swords; they won't touch your archers. Why complain when there's a simple defence against it?
c/ Rally Spot limit made sense back when armies that reached 1m were not even considered a possibility. If you don't like RS limits, blame the people who found loopholes and abused the game mechanics to be able to amass huge armies; the same loopholes that you yourself utilise to have an army large enough to require the removal of the limit.
d/ Carebear isn't some offensive name; it's jus' a term for people who don't want to pvp and jus' sit around. It's been the standard term for such people since the dawn of MMOs. It should never offend anyone any more than bein' called a "PvPr"; jus' look at the context in which it's said.
Let's add Orcs, tactical nukes and spaceships, too.
And sharks, with laser beams on their frickin' heads.
Since Archers are generally at the back, wouldn't the atacking Scouts have to go through all your other Troops 1st ?
Like the Workers, Warriors, Swordsmens, etc... ?
