    Default For the Noob...

For people who have just started your city you must think about how you would like to build it. some people are probably saying Duh? but the point is later on you can not destroy a building so you could build a farming city where you have a bunch of cottages and you use that city for resources. Or you can build a battle city where you have multiple barracks to handle the load of creating large troops.

so you may not know it yet but you will be able to build thousands of troops at a time and very quickly if you plan your city correctly for example a member in my alliance has 7 barracks so he can produce tons of troops in 5-10min. instead of waiting for 1000 troops in an hour now he has them in 10 minutes.

or if you choose to be a resource hog then you could build a gradual army and build your city up so that when you do decided to go out in to valleys you can conquer them with shear over numbering. and have the resources to continue upgrading and selling to gain money for researching since. researching cost a hefty penny.

I decided not to post my cities just so i don't have people complaining and giving sugestions on how they would have built my city. I would say these probably arent the best suggestions so people please feel free to elaborate.

    Default More choices

So i came across an interesting techniuqe a form of Scout spam

so most people do not fortify their Valley's and a good way to irritate some one and ruin some of their production is to send a scout and a hero and attack the same persons valley's. This will send multiple plunder attacks so quickly that person will be going cross eyed trying to click on location detail.

This can be very good if you plan on attacking some one who is powerful if you take out their resources they have to spend guys getting new ones you can then reinforce those valleys that you do attack and surprise his troops with yours this will then take down his/her troop count and you may have more guys than he does so you also get a chance to attack his/her town before they can rebuild.

of course you wont gain control over their valleys if your maxed out but who knows you may want to sacrifice some of your lower level valleys for theirs.

    Happy Plundering

I've got two cities, the first one I have 6 barracks but also 16 cottages, so I have both advantages in one city. Im currently in the middle of building up my second city, but I bring in so many recources from my first, I transfer them over so I have the space to store. What I am trying to do is build the cities so they can survive on their own. They are very close together, for security and resource reasons. But once the second can handle itself, I will transport it away and build two more cities, each next to my primary cities.

the problem with this tactic, is if you take someones valleys they are gonna get annoyed and come straight for you, thus releasing your cords to them, and honestly, at a certain level, valleys become useless, my valleys give me like 300k more food production, and when my army takes up around 5m per hour its insignificant.

So driscale is right you can destroy buildings i'm sorry everyone for saying you can't. you click on that red stop/no go sign on the picture of your buildings. to destroy them keep in mind this takes time. this will take time destroy and it will only give you minimal resources so the information previously given is still good aside from destroying buildings.

Again i am sorry for posting that you cannot i will be sure to research any tips i plan on giving the community before offering strategy again. oh and drisacle plz feel free to offer anything you have.

o wait nothing to add okay. well the information above is still good for the noobs.

    Default Farming anyone????

So if your new and your thinking man i could really use something else to boost my resources well here's an answer. Get another hero, they come with a bonus on resource production and you can send them out to other cities with warriors workers and transports and bam you will bring back what ever is not safe in the cities warehouse. thus you bring back instant resources. Yea you might be small but you are a force to recon with when you come out of 7 day protection build an army and get out there and reap havoc.

BUT........ and i mean BUT, be very sure very sure that if you plan on attacking someone for their resources. you will want to mail them and make sure they are inactive especially if they are of higher prestige. if they are around your level i would say there is not need to mail them and game on your in the same league.

Just be warned there are cruel people out their and if you don't message someone to find out if they are active the back lash from an attack or a valley take over can be brutal. So be warned do your research before you battle it out.

    Default Failed Raid......

So take this scenario it is late night and a near by person is just begging to get attacked you scout it out and send tons of troops but fail. but you notice if you could go and attack that person again you would take them out. most people forget but don't, rush over to your rally spot and go to your medic camp. you can cure these wounded men and wa la you have a new but much smaller army to send for another go around. this tactic would best be done while another player is expected to be sleeping. that way they have no idea of your first attack and by the time they wake up you would have sent to attacks back to back.

The benefit is you don't have to wait to build back your army your hero returns instantly and you get another army to throw back at your enemy. this works best when your wounded rate is close to 50% but can be done with a 30%
