What you will accomplish:
Refresh the heroes that are available for hire in your local inn.
What you will need:
Plenty of Gold
Introduction:
Are you searching for the right hero to begin leveling up for your attacking other players and quickly training troops? Do you find that the heroes available for hire in your inn are not worth the socks they rot in? Well keep reading, and I will show you a way to refresh the heroes available in your inn without the use of the Hero Hunting item.
Before we begin, it should be noted that if you want to develop a high level attack hero, you should start with a hero that is as low a level as possible with the most points already assigned to attack. The best example is a Level 1 Hero with 70 attack points (rare, but awesome!)
Step 1:
Make sure you have a feasting hall with plenty of room to spare. The more available slots in your feasting hall, the faster this process will go.
(Tip: you can send your heroes to another city by choosing to “Reinforce” that city and assign a Hero to the march. Best done with 1 Scout for fast results)
Step 2:
Start hiring heroes from your inn. Hire as many as you can given your feasting slots and available Gold on hand.
For information on why it is best to maintain a lower level inn,
please see the bottom of this tutorial!
Step 3:
Go to the heroes tab on the right overview bar, select a hero by clicking on his/her name, and begin *carefully* dismissing the heroes you just hired. Do this slowly so as to avoid dismissing the wrong heroes. For best results, it is a good practice to rename your heroes based on what their purpose is. This will help separate them from the others and reduce the risk of accidental dismissal.
Step 4:
After having hired and dismissed all heroes available in the Inn, return to the Inn to discover that new heroes have taken the available slots for hiring! Repeat these steps until you have found the hero you feel is most suitable for the job.
***Reason for maintaining a lower level inn:
Despite what is advertised in the Inn description, having a higher level inn will only attract higher level heroes, not necessarily with higher level stats. It is best to start with a very low level hero you can level up by farming NPC’s. I have found it best to keep an Inn at a level 3-6. Anything beyond that you will discover only renders heroes level 20+ which are not suitable for what you are trying to achieve. It is the one building in your town you don’t want to max out (not to be mistaken with the Feasting Hall, which you do want to max out if possible.)
Hope you enjoyed my first guide- there will be more to come!
