Thanks, Thalin, for confirming that Evony staff are meeting the minimum possible requirements for being considered staff.
However, just "being here" does little, if anything, for your players. I'm active on several threads and the only official participation fits into one of three categories:
1. saying "I'll look into it" (which sounds suspiciously like when our parents used to say "maybe" when we were children asking for big, expensive toys);
2. responding to possible forum violations while completely ignoring the point of the thread;
3. defending themselves from comments while completely ignoring the point of the thread.
Case in point: this thread.
You took the time to reply to defend yourself. But the real point of the thread is that Evony staff are, as a whole, not responsive to problems. At all.
In other words, System probably posted a problem a week or two ago. No Evony staff member had the common courtesy to respond to him. Now he posts a second thread complaining about the lack of response from Evony staff. He then gets a response to the second thread which DOESN'T REALLY NEED A RESPONSE.
Why did you waste your time to respond to this thread? Couldn't you have looked into one of your hundreds, if not thousands, of players that paid money and did not receive items?
It's an insult that you would take time for this thread.
It's obnoxious that you would deliberately obfuscate System's point.
It's unprofessional and absolutely pathetic that you would try to dismiss his completely legitimate complaint by pretending that you don't understand what he wants.
It shows a complete lack of empathy for your customers, paying and not, and absolute disrespect to the community you unfortunately oversee.
If you don't feel shame for this then we, as a community, should pity you.
