I wanted to be a mod, but they said I can't have a green name.

For anyone who wants to be a mod and doesn't think they stand a chance, can I point out something that I thought was sort of obvious but apparently isn't? Well, two things, really:

1) When you wear the green name, you represent Evony to the community. If you have a long history of trashing Evony and trolling against the company or its staff, I would think chances are slim of them wanting you to represent them. And why would you want to?

2) A mod's job is to enforce the forum rules. Anyone who has a history of being unable or unwilling to follow forum rules probably doesn't have a great chance of becoming a mod.

Although we don't look for people who kiss-up or agree with everything, if you want to be a mod it would help your case greatly if you could manage to obey the forum rules and not trash the company you'd like to be a part of!

I do not get paid a single cent for moderating. Purples are NOT paid.

I do happen to have a job with Evony that has nothing to do with moderating the forums. I chose to continue to moderate in my own time, for no pay, in addition to my work.
