I voted no on this, but it's not because of the reasons that's already been stated here. You will not find any game online that doesn't offer some kind of advantage for players that are willing to donate money to it. They need these donations in order to keep the servers running and to pay people. You have to remember that even though it's an online game, it still is a legit business, which means they have employees that need to be paid. They also use the donations to run ad campaigns, which yes have been a little on the raunchy and misleading side but from what I've seen all of those ads have been removed for more precise ads, and they also use it to maintain the site that you all love to come on to whine all the time.
Now, the reason that I voted no is because that it's still a young game in development. It's expected to have some bumps in the road along the way while they make improvements. However, what they could do to make things better is to keep players informed a little bit better of to some of the things that are being developed. I'm not saying to give everything away, just give us an idea of what to expect. Also, you should consolidate servers a lot. Instead of opening a new server every time the most recent one starts getting full, wipe out all inactive accounts on the older servers and make room for new players on them. I know that you open the new servers to give new players a fair chance at surviving, but you know as well as the rest of us that what actually happens is that players from the older servers move to the new ones to be able to build up quickly and be the big dog.
Another thing that you could do is to give players the option of moving to an older server. Put a button in the mail system that would allow a player to mail an admin telling them what server they want to move their current account to. The limitation to this would be that it would have to be an older server than the one that they're on, i.e. if they're playing on server 56, they can move to servers between 1 and 55 but not be able to move to servers 57 and up. If a player were to opt for this option, all of their items, cents, resources, troops, and cities would be moved to the other server. They would have the option to pick a state to move into, but of course they wouldn't be able to keep them in the same locations as they may be occupied.
